Who is Emilia?

Hello, I am Emilia Venegas Hinojosa. I was born in Portoviejo, and I have lived here for 41 years. I am single and have various passions, such as reading (books, comics, blogs), movies, travel (whether to visit family or to the United States, the only country for which I have a visa), and photography, especially capturing images from moving cars, almost like an extreme sport. My introduction to the world of photography began with a plastic roll film camera, a gift from my parents. After completing my studies in television production and graphic design, I received my first professional camera as a gift, and since then, I have cultivated a deep connection with photography. Photography and I met, and we haven't parted ways since.

My specialty focuses on female photography. I enjoy being part of the different stages of women's lives: from singledom, through life as a couple, wedding days, and even pregnancy with the family. Those who have worked with me describe their sessions as fun, relaxed, and full of confidence. My goal is to capture joy in the images, as I believe that laughter is a sign that we will have a good time together.

After almost 13 years in the world of photography, I have come to understand the importance of this discipline. Every photo I take today will, at some point, be held by the hands of children or grandchildren, and that idea fills me with happiness. Each session has its own story, and you will enjoy sharing it as you show the photos to your family and friends. When you look at your wedding album, you will relive the emotions and feel happy to see your story captured in each image.

My Style

I like spontaneity and naturalness, poses that enhance a woman's body, playing with light to create bright and lively photos. My style is different from what is usually seen in photography; I believe that moments are sometimes captured best when those in front of the camera are not looking at it—when they are being themselves, children running, people laughing, a couple embracing—photos full of life.

There's nothing better than having photos that showcase your true personality, freezing the moment when your children laugh with you, reflecting the love of family or a couple, or the excitement of expecting a baby. Those little moments are the ones you'll want to remember later on.

Before the session, I will give you advice on how to dress and suggest locations for your session. During the session, I'll help you relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera, guiding you to pose to enhance your beauty even more. After the session, you will receive a gallery with your photos to choose from, and within two weeks, you will have the photos in your hands.
